Artist of the Month
Each month during the school year at Madison Station Elementary, different artists will be showcased. The goal is to provide students with a variety of artwork to enjoy during the year and to help the PTO support our children's art program. Featured artists donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their art to the Madison Station art program.

Artists of the Month:
Lindsey Martin
Lindsey Martin is a local abstract artist who resides in Madison, Mississippi with her husband, Stan, and their two daughters, Anniston and Charlotte. Their two daughters both attended (and dearly loved!) MSE and particularly enjoyed the integration of the arts that is woven into each school day.
A self-taught artist, Lindsey has painted since childhood. Over the last 10+ years, her art has been featured in local stores, as well as homes across Mississippi. She is inspired by a very calming and peaceful palette, producing abstract, impasto-style paintings on canvas, as well as framed alcohol ink art. Her prayer over her paintings is that Christ is glorified and that others are blessed through her work.
Lindsey's paintings are featured this month at a special Madison Station price, and you can also find her work sold locally at Persnickety in Madison.
