Artist of the Month

Each month during the school year at Madison Station Elementary, different artists will be showcased. The goal is to provide students with a variety of artwork to enjoy during the year and to help the PTO support our children's art program. Featured artists donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their art to the Madison Station art program.

If you are interested in any of the art featured below and on our MSE PTO Facebook page,

please contact Mrs. Pamela in the office for assistance 601-856-6246.

If you are interested in a painting that has already been sold, feel free to contact Kristin Odom ( to ask if the artist can create additional or similar pieces.

Artist of the Month: Jen Bain

Jen was born and raised in Madison. She is married to her husband, Dwight, and has a 12 year old son, Langston, who is a 7th grader at Germantown Middle School. Jen has always loved to draw but didn’t start painting until 20 years ago. Many years ago, she was babysitting for a family that encouraged her to show her artwork at the Canton Flea Market, and the rest is history!

She now paints home portraits, Christmas ornaments, hair bows, and anything else that is asked of her. Every time she tries a new style of art, it has been because a customer asked her to.

Jen gets her artistic abilities from her late father and is proud that she is able to carry on his artistic talents. She feels most inspired to paint when it is gloomy and rainy outside.

She is thrilled to be showcasing her art in the halls of Madison Station during the month of September.

15% of all sales are traditionally donated to MSE by the artist
